Pottsville Beach Sports Club is home to both the Pottsville Beach Women’s Bowls Club and our open club, the Pottsville Beach Bowls Club. We have two magnificent greens for your bowling pleasure and once you are off the green the Sports Club’s facilities will complete your day out.
Looking for a Game?
Monday is our green keeper’s day. Sorry, no roll ups or games today.
Tuesday is a great day for a private roll up. If you are looking for a game of barefoot bowls, please contact our friendly bar staff to secure a booking. Tuesday is also our Skills Development day so if you are thinking of taking up bowls or looking for some expert advice to improve your game, join us at 9:30am for an hour or so.
Wednesday is Men’s Two Bowl Triples. Visitors are always welcome. Dress is mufti. Please ensure your name is on the list in the bowls office by 11:30am for a 1:00pm start.
Thursday is Ladies Two Bowl Triples. Visitors are always welcome. Bowls attire is required. Please ensure your name is on the list in the bowls office by Wednesday afternoon for an 8:30am start on Thursday morning.
Friday is our Open Mixed Pairs Competition. This is a self-selected pairs competition but you can put your name down as a spare and we will endeavour to get you a game. Visitors are always welcome. Dress is mufti. Please have your name on the list in the bowls office by 11:30am for a 1:00pm start (We start at 2:00pm during the Daylight Saving months of the year.)
Saturday is Open Mixed Bowls. Visitors are always welcome. Dress is uniform for members or bowls attire for visitors. Please put your name on the list in the bowls office by 11:30am for a 1:00pm start.
Sunday is a great day for barefoot bowls!
